Aidni runs in three places: our cloud, customer cloud accounts and air-gapped servers inside data centers. Our software reads live telemetry from power, cooling and GPU systems and powers the agents that help operators run them. It has to be as dependable as the facilities it serves.
As our first Site Reliability Engineer you will own how the platform is deployed, observed and recovered everywhere it runs, and you will spend time on site with the operators who depend on it.
What you will do
- Design, operate and scale our hybrid platform for high availability, disaster recovery and repeatable deployment across cloud, VPC and on-premises sites.
- Build automation that removes manual work from deployments, upgrades, connector onboarding and incident response.
- Run AI and ML workloads in production, including the models behind Conduit, with monitoring for latency, drift and failure.
- Own incident response: lead incidents, run blameless reviews and ship the fixes that prevent repeats.
- Manage development, staging and test environments, and keep them secure and compliant as we work toward SOC 2.
- Find reliability and performance gaps across the stack and lead the work to close them.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as an SRE or in a similar role on a production SaaS platform.
- Hands-on cloud experience (AWS preferred; GCP or Azure considered).
- Strong scripting and programming skills, for example Python, plus containers and orchestration such as Kubernetes.
- Solid grounding in networking, security, performance tuning and CI/CD.
- Clear written communication and good judgment in a fast-moving startup.
Nice to have
- Experience with data-center operations, building management or power monitoring systems.
- Experience deploying software into on-premises or air-gapped environments.
- Experience running ML or LLM workloads in production.
How we work
- Comfortable working with both physical and software systems.
- Willing to travel to customer sites; our software affects real facilities.
- Ready to support teammates during critical incidents, including outside business hours.
- Communicates early and often.
What we offer
- Competitive salary and founding-team equity.
- Health, dental and vision coverage.
- A direct role in shaping how the platform is built and run.
Send us your resume and one system you have kept running.
